We lost our National 2 rink x 4's match .
Rinks were shared.
First Match of the Season -
Captain Paul Fredersdorff got the men's season off to a fine start with a 22 shot win against St Andrews

Obituary - Fred Lewis

It is with much sadness that I have to report that Fred Lewis passed away on the evening of the 5th April 2014, aged 87,after a long illness. Fred was a Life Member at Banwell BC and many members will have known Fred

Winscombe Bowling Club

Our Club is in the centre of the Mendip village of Winscombe.
We are a fully mixed club with teams playing in Somerset County and Local Leagues as well as many Friendly and Tourist games.

We have two main Tournaments:
Our Men's Open Triples is held in July and we aim to attract 28 teams from all over the South West.
The Floodlight Tournament starts at the end of August and goes right through to September.
It's a league then knockout competition. For entry details please follow links.
If you are Touring the South West you will be sure of a warm welcome at Winscombe.
