Welcome to Our Club which is in the centre of the Mendip village of Winscombe in North Somerset.
We are a fully mixed club with teams playing in Somerset County and Local Leagues
as well as many Friendly and Tourist games.
Our Club was founded in 1921 and the green laid down in 1922.
Our friends and rivals at Victoria BC were our first apponents in May.
We are looking forward and planning to celebrate our centenary in 2021.

Our Club is in the centre of the Mendip village of Winscombe.Winscombe is a village in North Somerset ,
close to the settlements of Axbridge and Cheddar, on the western edge of the Mendip Hills ,
7 miles (11 km) south-east of Weston-super-Mare and 14 miles (23 km) south-west of Bristol.

We are on the corner of Well Close and Sandford Road, (opposite the Community Centre).
Coaches are available for group or individual tuition

We have a Monday Evening Club starting at 6.15pm throughout the season.
It is a social evening playing bowls.
All are welcome.
Our Ladies have a team in the North Somerset Triples League and The Wessex League .
The Ladies also play in The Southey Cup .
They have their own Afternoon Internal Triples League.
The Men have 2 teams in the Somerset League and an Over 60's team
in the Weston Super Mare District Over 60's League.
There is also a full range of Club Competitions and Friendly Matches with local clubs and Tourist sides.

We have two main Tournaments . Our Men's Open Triples is held in July and
we aim to attract 28 teams from all over the South West.
The Floodlight Tournament starts at the end of August and goes right through to September.
Its a league then knockout competition.
